You can’t lose weight or tone if you don’t set your mind on it so start this winter at a gym (including swimming) or at home. Starting now will help you get in the habit by spring and summer when you can start to exercise in your swimming pool daily.
If you have that gym membership you don’t use, now is the time to start using it. If they have a pool, you’re lucky as swimming is a great form of exercise. Haven’t joined a gym and would like to? Finding one with a pool will jump start your routine, that way when your pool is open, you’ll already have an established a pool exercise program.

Using a weight, do a normal bicep curl. The resistance of the water will make you work harder in both directions.
Perhaps you don’t have access to a gym, those exercises can be adapted to dry land or your living room very easily. Starting a program now will get your body in better shape for the summer.
